StratusStation E-Lert is a custom weather monitoring application designed for Emergency Management, Homeland Security, and any one needing live video feeds wiith complete weather data. The hardware consists of a fully remote controlled pan/tilt/zoom camera with an integrated weather station. A custom built computer server provides full control of the cameras while providing real time video and complete weather information. An available wireless laptop workstation allows monitoring on the go wherever an internet connection is available. StratusStation E-Lert gives all the benefits of live weather spotters but viewed from the safety and convenience of an emergency operations center.

The StratusStation Server can accomodate an endless number of remote monitoring stations. The pan/tilt/zoom cameras have continuous 360 degree rotation. Pressurized optics, an integrated heating element, and even a window wiper ensure a clear picture in almost any kind of environment. The weather station provides everything a weather observer could ask for. This includes wind speed and direction, temperature, relative humidity, heat index, barometric pressure, dew point, wind chill, rain amount and rain rate. E-Lert software keeps track of daily, monthly, and yearly highs, lows, and averages.
